We’re all thinking about the big game and interestingly enough, one of the New Haven Pizza institutions is now offering tons of non apizza options that are perfect for your Super Bowl party! Sally’s Apizza is offering new menu items (in addition to their traditional apizza) to make your takeout that much better. They also are offering a new Happy Hour Monday through Thursday 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
They have delicious wings, sausage and peppers, baked clams, a new arugula salad with crispy chicken, and a variety of pasta dishes. A must try is the “Carne Amore” which is their seasonal pizza special with mozzarella, Sally’s tomato sauce, coppa, Calabrian salami, and pancetta.
Sally’s Apizza was founded in New Haven, Connecticut by Salvatore Consiglio in 1938. They hand-craft authentic New Haven pizza in custom designed ovens, using the original recipes. They are famous for their distinctive tomato sauce and chewy, crispy crust with an iconic oven-kissed char.
