Go green with Green and Tonic!

From revitalizing juices to hearty soups and sandwiches, Green and Tonic has something to bring to every palate. All of the items they produce are 100% plant based, which equals a vegan hot spot. I will say that I am definitely not a vegan however I LOVED everything I tried. It made me feel better that everything I was eating was made with fresh and local ingredients that won’t upset my stomach. Adding to the fact that everything I tried was packed with flavor,, their products are also sustainable and better for the environment. 

Along with the products they have in house, they also offer meal plans for when you want to eat a bit healthier but don’t know where to start. They offer juice cleanses along with smoothie meal plans and more. They recommend trying out these meal plans for 4 days for the best gut reset results. Some of the benefits of these meal plans include reduced bloating, higher energy levels, detox, skin detox, and improved digestion. Along with their meal plans they have pre-made meals ready to go when you need something quick!

Here’s what we tried:

Pumpkin galore!! The best part about fall is your diet being half pumpkin. Here’s all the pumpkin goods we tried: 

PSL latte with cold foam and cinnamon on top! Made with plant based milk. 

Pumpkin bread made with plant based ingredients

Pumpkin cookie with some chocolate chips and pumpkin seeds on top

Pumpkin parfait with homemade granola 

And to switch things up a bit, we tried one of their salads with some quinoa, pecans, and of course pumpkin seeds!

Hi everyone! My name is Kirsten Horlbeck, one of the interns at 203 local. I was born and raised in Norwell, Massachusetts and I spend most of my time on Cape Cod where I'm on the beach 24/7. I have always loved to travel and took that passion abroad where I spent 4 months in Florence, Italy.
