Local chicken restaurant expands with fan-favorite giveaways and opening-week specials
SHELTON, CT (November 24, 2025) Garden Catering, the family-owned chicken nugget brand serving fans since 1978, is officially open as of Monday, November 24th at 702 Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton’s Split Rock Development. The restaurant marks Garden Catering’s tenth location and it’s first in the Naugatuck Valley.
Guests will find all the Garden Catering favorites: their legendary hand-cut nuggets with secret seasoning and signature sauces, crispy potato cones, handcrafted milkshakes, and the award-winning Hotsy breakfast sandwich. Garden Catering will also serve its gluten-friendly nuggets, cauliflower nuggets; all part of why the brand is known for “the best nuggets you’ll ever have.”
To celebrate the opening, Garden Catering will host a Grand Opening Week from December 1–6, featuring fan-favorite giveaways and opening-week specials including $3 Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwiches, free potato cones and milkshakes on select days, and the return of the always-popular Free T-Shirt Day. Guests will also have the chance to win Free Nuggets for a Year.

The new Shelton restaurant features indoor seating, the brand’s refreshed look, and self-service kiosks. Guests can order online, use the Garden Catering app, and earn rewards through the brand’s popular loyalty program.
Nearly 50 years after opening its original location in Old Greenwich, Garden Catering remains committed to serving great food while giving back.
