During my recent visit, I tried their renowned pumpkin spice banana pudding, the chicken sandwich combo with french fries, and the classic chicken and waffles combo paired with creamy mac and cheese.
My adventure began with a surprising twist on a classic dessert—the pumpkin spice banana pudding. The rich and creamy pudding was a delicious fusion of autumn spices with the bananas. It was a delightful change from the classic banana pudding, leaving our taste buds tingling with the taste of fall!
For those who crave a sandwich with a kick but not an overpowering heat, the chicken sandwich combo at Haven Hot Chicken hits the spot. The golden-brown, perfectly fried chicken was sandwiched between a soft brioche bun and topped with coleslaw, pickles, and a side of ranch! The mild spice level was just enough spice, making it an ideal choice for those looking to enjoy hot chicken without the fiery intensity. The fries were also generously seasoned, adding an extra layer of flavor that complemented the chicken sandwich.
Something I can never find at fried chicken joints is a classic chicken and waffles combo, and Haven Hot Chicken does it just right! The perfectly fried chicken paired with the fluffy waffles creates a sweet and savory experience. The side of mac and cheese was creamy and gooey, adding a comforting addition to the meal.
