Beginner Calligraphy Workshop

Join us at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards in Newtown, Connecticut for modern calligraphy for beginners. Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor and more! The perfect crafty night out!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Feel free to come early to check in, grab your seat, and purchase any food or drinks (drinks available to purchase throughout class too!). A $10 drink credit is included with the purchase of your ticket. Class will start promptly at 6:30 PM EST!

Wine is not included in the ticket. A drink purchase of minimum $10 plus tax and gratuity per participant is required to attend this event and can be made at the vineyard prior to the start of the event, after our staff checks your ID.

Outside Alcohol Beverages, Water Bottles or Any Other Beverages are NOT allowed to be brought in the premises of the vineyard. This is a restriction of our Farm Winery Permit. Our staff reserves the right to check bags and coolers.

All participants must be 21 years of age or older.
