Disaster!

Earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and the unforgettable songs of the ’70s take center stage in NCHS Theatre’s production of Disaster, the Musical! Broadway’s side-splitting homage to classic disaster films features hit songs such as “Knock on Wood,” “Hot Stuff,” “I am Woman,” “Hooked on a Feeling,” and many, many more (34 total to be exact)! This over-the-top musical comedy takes place on a floating casino, just off the coast of NYC (to get around the gambling laws) and thrusts together an unlikely cast of characters including a faded disco star, a disaster expert, a sexy nightclub singer, a feminist reporter, an untrustworthy businessman, a couple of hot waiters looking for love, and a nun with a gambling addiction. Who will survive and who will fall victim to the rats…sharks…piranhas…and falling disco balls? You’ll have to come find out for yourself.
