Taste of Portugal Chef Dinner

Chef Debora Dividino will introduce guests to her favorite Portuguese ingredients, fusing the influences of traditional flavors.

Mingle, sip and soak up the vibrant atmosphere, while Sauce Band plays all your favorite pop, rock, and dance tunes. If you want to get a taste of what Portugal has to offer, say no more, and enjoy a truly communal experience that will expand your wine pairing knowledge and ignite your next culinary adventure.

Starter: Salted Cod Cakes, Shrimp Cakes, Rustic Bread and Olives & Olive Oil Aquila’s Nest Vineyards Sibyl Dry Rose

Appetizer: Caldo Verde (Chourico and Collard Greens Soup) Aquila’s Nest Vineyards Zana e Malit Dry Riesling

Main Course: Carne de Porco Alentejana (Pork Stew with Clams) Aquila’s Nest Vineyards Queen of Illyria Red Blend

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Debora Dividino has carved out an impressive résumé full of leading roles and professional achievement, such as running Capers Too Eatery (Danbury), training at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in New York City and catering events. After graduating from ICE with honors, Dividino secured her first kitchen position as line chef at The Morgan Library & Museum. Her undeniable star quality and concentrated creative energy brought her to the acclaimed 42 The Restaurant atop the Ritz Carlton in White Plains, under the tutelage of Portuguese Chef Anthony Gonçalves. Following that, Chef Dividino became a private chef as a way to satisfy her many passions and to create unique food experiences for her local community, influenced by the flavors of her home country, Chef Dividino’s is a passionate believer in Portuguese gastronomy and has dedicated herself to translating these flavors into unique and exciting dishes throughout her career.
