Watch our dancers Take Flight!
The Ballet School of Stamford will present its 26th annual Spring Performance, Taking Flight, an evening of classical ballet, jazz and modern dance showcasing the journey of a young dancer. Act 1 begins with Symphonic Progressions sent Symphony No. 1 by Mahler. A Fosse inspired Jazz classic Blackbird and an original modern piece Sursum, set to Ezio Bosso’s exciting score from The Nights round out the act. Act 2 will take you into the magical world of Swan Lake. Excerpts from this classical ballet with be performed by our advanced students accompanied by Lilia Khaina, our Music Director.
