Created by veteran comedian and producer Carole Montgomery, Funny Women of a Certain Age first premiered in 2019 on Showtime making history as the first stand-up comedy special featuring an all-female lineup over 50 years old. It was Showtime’s highest rated comedy special that year. The groundbreaking special was followed by More Funny Women of a Certain Age and Even More Funny Women of a Certain Age, each starring a powerhouse cast of legendary comedians sharing their raw, hilarious, and unfiltered perspectives on life, aging, and everything in between.
