Greenwich Avenue’s Halloween extravaganza is back with new experiences and Stamford Health as the Presenting Sponsor
The Local Moms Network, the parent company of Greenwich Moms, is pleased to announce the return of Greet & Treat, a Halloween extravaganza taking place on Greenwich Avenue Saturday, October 29 from 11am- 3pm. Greenwich Moms has partnered with Greenwich Magazine to bring this celebration to the Avenue with trick-or-treating, a costume contest for a chance to win a $300 gift card to Funky Monkey and two fun-filled Kids Zones.
Over 75 businesses on and around Greenwich Avenue will be part of Greet & Treat with special in-store promotions and goodies for all. Guests will have the chance to meet with local business owners and learn more about what they do along their trick-or-treating experience, with each participating store marked by festive balloons.
Greenwich Greet & Treat Presenting Sponsor is Stamford Health, who cares for the community through a wide range of high-quality health and wellness services. With the recent attainment of several quality awards and achievements, Stamford Health is widely known across the state of Connecticut. Greenwich Play has also supported the Greet & Treat Event as a Balloon and Bag Sponsor.
This year the event will feature two Kids Zones: one with a touch-a-truck police car / fire truck area, and the second offering a variety of activities such as a DJ and bubble show. Kids Zone participating sponsors include Ed’s Garage Doors, Feast & Fettle, Mike’s Organic, Monogram Mary, Prep Academy, Sam Bridge, and Wildacre Rotisserie. A number of food trucks will be on site, including Dough Girls, Neil’s on Wheels and more.
A costume contest is also a new addition to the event. Families can snap a photo of themselves in costume to share on Instagram and tag @greenwich_moms for a chance to win a $300 gift card to Funky Monkey. First Selectman Fred Camillo will attend Greet & Treat and serve as the judge of the costume contest.
The Local Moms Network CEO and Greenwich Moms founder Layla Lisiewski said, “We’re thrilled to team up with Greenwich Magazine to bring the community together to celebrate with Greet & Treat. It’s really special to help activate the Avenue like this for Halloween, and see all the smiling faces from families and our local business owners.”
“Stamford Health is very excited to sponsor this year’s Greenwich Greet & Treat,” remarked Kathleen Silard, Stamford Health President and CEO. “As a Greenwich resident, it is truly heartwarming to see how Greenwich Moms is providing our children with a fun way to celebrate Halloween safely and that we are able to hold these types of public events once again.”
