Isla & Co, a recently opened restaurant in downtown Fairfield is located directly next to the community theater, at 11 Unquowa Road. The Australian-style restaurant opened in July, being the first Isla & Co location to open in Connecticut. Besides Fairfield, you can find locations in Brooklyn and Midtown, New York.
By day, Isla & Co is the perfect place to grab a specialty coffee along with some french toast for brunch. When the weather is nice, the space is easily converted into an indoor-outdoor dining space with a large patio area, allowing for double the number of tables.
By night, Isla & Co serves as a hot spot for some great cocktails and delicious dinner plates. It is the perfect place to meet a friend for some unique drinks and dinner from 5pm-10pm daily. Their signature cocktails are a must-try, (& how cute is this cup)?
The staff at Isla & Co are excellent, greeting you with a smile and suggesting various items to try. To start our brunch, we ordered iced lattes for the table. These were incredible and absolutely picture-perfect.
It was nearly impossible to decide on just one dish for brunch; every item was unique and sounded delectable. Choices varied from avocado toast, eggs benedict, and french toast to burgers, salads, and sandwiches. We decided to try the avocado Isla benedict, butter lettuce salad, and lastly, a grilled chicken sandy. Each one of these items was flavorful and filling, with a beautiful presentation.
