This Japanese pub offers sushi, Japanese, Pan Asian cuisine, vegetarian specialities, and traditional Omakase experience, as well as an extensive sake menu.

If you’re on the hunt for an exceptional lunch spot, look no further than Oishi. We recently had the pleasure of stopping by for a midday meal, and let me tell you, we left far from disappointed!

We started with a few “small plates” options like Angus Beef Stuffed Wontons, Sichuan Dumplings & Peking Duck Asian Sliders. Our main entrees included a Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box, and Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura.

They also offer a $20 lunch special for an assortment of 3 different sushi rolls which we had to get our hands on. Our choices were Sweet Potato Roll, California Roll & Shrimp Tempura Roll. We loved that the menu really accommodates for anybody who might not be the biggest raw fish fan or is just in the mood for a veggie friendly roll.

One of the standout features of Oishi is that the entire menu is available during lunch hours. This means you’re not limited to just a few options; you can enjoy any of their delicious offerings, whether it’s a classic sushi roll, a hearty ramen bowl, or one of their inventive fusion dishes.

Their sake program is extensive, offering a range of options to suit every palate. Whether you’re a connoisseur or a curious newcomer, there’s something for everyone. For a refreshing start to your meal, you might want to try their chilled sake. The cool, crisp flavors are perfect for a light, invigorating drink that pairs beautifully with their sushi and appetizers.

If you’re in the mood for something a bit more adventurous, Oishi’s infused and sparkling sake options are a delightful treat. The infused sakes come with a variety of interesting flavors that can complement or contrast with your meal in delightful ways. Meanwhile, the sparkling sake offers a bubbly twist that adds a celebratory touch to any lunch.

On a cold day, nothing beats the warmth of hot sake. Oishi offers this comforting option, providing a soothing, flavorful way to ward off the chill. The hot sake is expertly prepared to enhance its rich, robust flavors, making it an ideal companion for their heartier dishes like ramen or tempura.

Oishi is a gem of a restaurant that delivers on every front. Whether you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine or just looking for a great place for lunch, Oishi should be at the top of your list. We left with full stomachs and big smiles, and we can’t wait to return
