Cafe Piccolo is a female owned and operated company local to Fairfield, Connecticut. What began as a shared love of coffee and espresso between friends blossomed into something spectacular.
The Covid-19 Pandemic affected families and businesses in many ways. Sarah had always had a lifelong dream of opening up a coffee shop. When faced with time off from work, Sarah took the opportunity to explore the idea of starting a coffee business. Due to the circumstances, the pandemic re-directed her idea of a coffee shop into a mobile cafe!
Michelle, a local elementary school teacher, has always loved enjoying a hot cup of coffee or espresso with friends. When the pandemic hit, Michelle found that one of the things she missed most was the social atmosphere associated with “grabbing a cup of coffee.” While working remotely, Michelle understood the need for a hot cup of coffee and conversation between friends.
It wasn’t long before Sarah and Michelle realized their shared passion for coffee could be special. Their desire to provide consumers with a unique and memorable experience led them to convert a Piaggio Ape, delivered straight from Italy, into Cafe Piccolo, a mobile cafe!. Michelle and Sarah knew they would make a great team – and thus, Cafe Piccolo was born.
At Cafe Piccolo, they are dedicated to serving you the best coffee, espresso, and cappuccino. They can be found serving patrons out of their mobile cafe: a unique Piaggio Ape that came straight from the streets of Italy. Their mission is to not only provide you with delicious caffeinated beverages, but to give you an unforgettable experience. They pride themselves not only on their specialty coffee drinks, including their signature Moccachino, but their friendly service and inviting atmosphere.
