Ripka’s Beach Cafe

For over 50 years “the concession” in Calf Pasture Beach was just a convenience in the summer; only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day…. Beginning in 2013 its become a destination year round. Ripka’s Beach Café is a very casual beachside restaurant that caters to a wide range of clients; from bare backed skateboarders to “70 somethings” enjoying the freshest of local oysters and shellfish, lobsters, fresh salads and specials including adult beverages, to simple burgers and dogs. Spring, Summer and Fall their events abound with music under their tent on “Aloha Fridays” to out door BBQ’s to Pig Roasts to Oktoberfest….Autumn brings Pumpkin carving and Oktoberfest and winter brings snowman building contests and fire pits beachside with a hot drink in your hand. A 40X80 Tent holds everything from happy hours to weddings and all in between; a perfect spot for a corporate event or a post wedding Brunch. Ripka’s is also full service catering with a boat and a catering liquor license they can get just about anywhere. Ripka’s is definitely a locals spot in and off season where the views are unmatched, the food is great without the Fairfield County Price tag. Flip Flops to Sunday best…everyone fits in here!
