What made Brit Floyd possible for you to achieve? Are there any mentors or other people around you that helped guide you?

  • ” I have a strong love for Pink Floyd as I’ve been listening since I was a child”
  • Pink Floyd guided us from afar to shape us into the band we are today. I have over 30 years of experience in the music industry so that has helped as well!”
  • “We wanted to get as close as we could to the authenticity of Pink Floyd with lighting + small details”

What is your favorite Pink Floyd song?

  • ” I like the songs with the finest rock guitar solos, like ‘Comfortably Numb’
  • “Any song from Dark Side of the Moon, there’s such a great climax embedded in”

Did any of the band members get to see Pink Floyd in performance or their parents?

  • “No- my parents generation was mostly music in the 50s so they hadn’t grow up with Pink Floyd. My generation was the start of rock and this type of music”

Are you working on anything new this year?

  • “We are thinking about next year’s set list while also continuing touring for this year”

What have you loved most about touring?

  • “Getting up there on stage and successfully entertaining”

What were your other name choices besides Brit Floyd? Or was it very clear that you wanted “Brit Floyd”?

  • “Used to be apart of The Australian Pink Floyd Tribute Band but I wanted it to be snappy and since we are British, It fit as ‘Brit Floyd”

Who would you like to collaborate with?

  • “The original members of pink Floyd- obvious choice- Roger Waters “

If you could change anything about the industry what would it be?

  • “How difficult it is to create your own music, compared to how it used to be. It should be easier for everyone starting out”

What musicians do you admire besides Pink Floyd?

  • “John McLaughlin, Rush, Prague bands, Joni Mitchell “

Do you have any favorite venues to perform?

  • “Red rocks- We performed there 11 times. It’s an outdoor theatre with the biggest crowd we get with over 10,000 people!”

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

  • “To practice a lot, more than I was doing, to try to work with musicians that are better than you, it will help a ton”

What are your hobbies and passions outside of music?

  • “I’m interested in history, I read a lot to keep up with affairs. It gets your brain working outside of music”
