EZ Medcard is a medical marijuana clinic that is removing the barriers of obtaining a medical marijuana card by making it more accessible and affordable to patients in Connecticut. By utilizing the practice of Telehealth, EZ medcard has streamlined the entire process and assists patients in both the initial procedure of obtaining a card and throughout the renewal process. EZMedcard offers a more affordable price for the medical cards charging $150 for the initial evaluation and renewals as cheap as $100 (on average 20% less than other clinics in Connecticut!).
How does this work?
With EZMedcard, this process is a breeze! By visiting the website, you can book a virtual appointment with one of the best medical providers in Connecticut for your evaluation. If the provider determines Medical Marijuana is right for you, you will obtain your card in as little as 72 hours! Then that’s it, all you have to do after that is renew it with them every 12 months.
Why should I get a card?
If you are currently suffering from a chronic or debilitating illness, many medical providers will recommend treating your pain with medical marijuana. Conditions and ailments that commonly qualify for Medical Marijuana are, but not limited to: ALS, chronic pain, PTSD, HIV/AIDS, Parkinson’s Disease, and Crohn’s Disease. While Medical Marijuana can help you deal with your pain, there are also other benefits for obtaining a medical marijuana card in Connecticut. With a Medical Marijuana card, you will be able to purchase marijuana tax free which is a huge cost saver! You will also be able to purchase more and more potent products. Recreational users are allowed to purchase 1/4 of marijuana a day, while medical card holders are allotted 5 ounces per month! Medical marijuana users also get first access to products first if there’s a shortage!

Why is recertifying with your company better than recertifying with other doctors in the area?
“I would say we’re more affordable. Our renewal cost is only $100 which is probably on the lower end in the state. And our process is just extremely efficient and we have some of the best providers working for us.”
What would you say is unique about your business?
“I would say what’s unique is that my partner and I both went to college together! Ultimately we both run and are continuously growing the business. And, you know, it’s pretty rare to have successful business partners that are both friends and business partners. I’d say it’s pretty unique and awesome that we both went to Sacred Heart University together!”
Are you hoping to eventually expand your reach to different states in the coming years as the laws continue to change?
“We actively certify in Massachusetts and New York as well, and we just opened up in West Virginia and Oklahoma!
Are there any conditions insurance usually covers because of the great benefits?
“So currently we cannot accept insurance because cannabis is not federally legal. So it’s unfortunately cash only.”
Is there anything that you wanted to highlight that I didn’t really get to ask you?
“I would say that we’re like an extremely flexible practice that’s always looking to partner with community events, healthcare organizations, and nonprofits to partner with and to educate. We work with a few different nonprofits to provide low income appointments for folks that can’t afford our regular appointment cost!”
