Massimo’s Italian Corner Deli is renowned for its sandwiches, and it’s easy to see why. The menu offers a wide array of options to cater to every palate. Here is what we tried: 

Their burrata sandwich with arugula, roasted seasonal vegetables, EVOO, basil and balsamic reduction. All put together in their fresh bread. 

Massimo’s doesn’t stop at sandwiches. Their homemade pizza is a must-try. The thin, crispy crust serves as the base for a variety of toppings. Any pizza that you try at Massimo’s is a slice of Italy in every bite. We tried their margarita pizza with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, basil & olive oil. 

If you’re seeking a lighter option, Massimo’s salads are a refreshing choice. Made with locally sourced ingredients, these salads are a testament to the freshest flavors of the season. We tried their caprese salad with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, balsamic reduction, and fresh greens. 

No meal is complete without a sweet ending! Their selection of baked goods is unbelievable. From cannolis to tiramisu to cookies, they have all the Italian sweets you could imagine. We tried their sfogliatelle, which is a traditional Italian pastry that comes from the Campania region of Italy. This paired nicely with their freshly brewed cappuccino. This was a perfect way to end our Italian journey!

Massimo Italian Corner is a modern Italian Cafe. With a mix of old and new, their concept is geared toward the Italian way of life. Espresso, Italian products, and friendships. They offer pizza, grinders, salads, pastries, an Italian market, and an espresso bar. Since 1986, Massimo has been cooking with love in his restaurant Massimo Pizzeria Ristorante in Bridgeport. In 2017, he opened the Italian Corner Deli in Trumbull. He is now proud to have a third location in Norwalk to continue spreading his love for food and family. While you are in one of their locations you will feel Italian. Hence their slogan, “Be Italian.” The concept behind each restaurant was to create the Piazza experience: Piazza is the town square in each of the areas of Italy where everyone converses and unites. They want to recreate this experience when you gather and enjoy a meal or espresso with family and friends.
