Pizzeria Molto, a popular Italian restaurant located on Post Rd. in Fairfield, offers a lively dining experience resembling a 1950s Roman trattoria. They are known for their pizza, tapas-style plates, and extensive wine menu. Immediately upon entry, you are met with welcoming, kind staff along with a high-energy gathering place to dine. To drink, we ordered a round of Aperol Spritzes along with a bottle of their Tuscan Chianti.

Among their most popular dishes is their fresh mozzarella, which we ordered as an appetizer to start, along with their Calamari Fritti and Meatballs. The tapas-style plates made it easy to share with everyone at the table.

For our entrees, we ordered Chicken Parmigiana, Penne Vodka, North Atlantic roasted salmon, and Cavatelli Spiga. To end the night, we ordered their tiramisu and chocolate lava cake to share. Molto offers lunch and dinner along with a popular “Molto Monday” where customers can purchase 1/2 off bottles of wine. Molto’s owner Dan Camporeale, also owns Matto in Shelton, Spiga in New Canaan, and Lugano in Old Greenwich.
