We just found your new go to bagel spot!
Popup bagels have everyone going crazy for their soft and fluffy doughy delights. We visited their Westport location (which is the OG) however they have many other locations in Massachusetts and New York! One of the most exciting aspects of Pop-Up Bagels is the incredible range of flavors they offer. All the classics you need from everything, sesame, salt, poppy, and plain, they got you covered.
Popup bagels are unique for their “rip and dip” method, as they give you the bagel whole so you can rip and dip into their spreads. They have an imaginative approach when it comes to toppings. They think of cream cheese spreads that go beyond plain and offer options like scallion and dill, honey chipotle, and even spicy jalapeño. The spreads differ each week and are posted on Popup’s social media. This week, they had maple butter, jalapeno cheddar cream cheese, and the classic scallion cream cheese.
Q & A with general manager Jack!
What is the minimum amount of bagels you can get?
- At our Westport location it’s a minimum of a dozen and it’s pick up only as of now. However at our other locations such as New York, our minimum is 3.
How often do you change your spreads?
- Every week! We also take suggestions from customers of what they would like to see.
Are there any upcoming changes to Popup?
- We are renovating our Westport location a bit within the next week, and we will be accepting more walk-ins as well!
What’s your favorite combo?
- When we had the dill pickle cream cheese, that was my favorite with everything bagel. We hope to bring that spread back soon!
