As you might know, the band AJR had its claim to fame in 2015 for their hit single “I’m Ready” off of their album “Living Room”, which made its way to the Top 40 list. They are best known for their electronic music, harmonies & indie-pop vibes. AJR was formed in 2005 in New York, consisting of 3 members. Adam does vocals/bass, Jack does vocals and guitar, & Ryan does vocals, piano, and guitar! Long story short, AJR started doing gigs around New York covering hit songs from ‘The Vampire Weekend’ & ‘The Beach Boys’.
They caught the attention of Australian pop singer ‘Sia Furler’ who got in contact with Columbia’s former president, Steve Greenberg, who then signed as their manager. AJR has been touring and playing ever since with several hit singles!
On June 9th, 2023 AJR and Chelsea Cutler, a pop singer-songwriter from Westport, CT, are playing at Westville Music Bowl at 6:30 PM. The doors will open at 5:30. Tickets are starting at $39.00 and range to $80.00.
Westville Music Bowl is CT’s best outdoor music venue, open from May- October annually. They are located at 45 Yale Ave in New Haven, CT.
