Meet Sally:
Sally Head is a certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer and a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Sally is also a certified Behavior Change Specialist and a Youth Sports Trainer. Sally started teaching back in 2013 when she was recovering from a foot injury. The injury was so severe that she was told she needed surgery and that she would not be able to walk evenly again. A friend suggested Aqua aerobics, to lessen the impact on her foot. Once she tried it, she was hooked. She immediately became certified as a group fitness instructor and then started to work on her balance with yoga and barre. Her foot started to heal and her balance and strength improved tremendously. In fact, she found she could do incredible things-more than ever before. She realized the body could heal itself from the inside out. It was a profound revelation. Now, Sally can be found leading classes and workshops dealing with balance and strength, and helping others to heal with corrective exercises. She also teaches Yoga to kids-to help them ease their anxiety and stress. Sally also loves to teach Yoga Trapeze. and walk with her Jetti Poles. Sally can be found hanging upside down in her yoga trapeze, walking along the beach with her walking poles,or and teaching her clients that all things are possible as long as you have the knowledge, the strength and the willpower.
Sally’s favorite quote: “The only limitations one has are the ones they place on themselves.” — Mohammad Ali
Meet Heather:
Heather is a 200 RYS Yoga Alliance certified teacher, Barre Above instructor, breathwork and meditation facilitator, and vegan beauty advocate. She received her training in 2005 at Atmananda in New York City and New Paltz, NY led by founder, Jhon Tamayo and is schooled in Iyengar, Hatha, Vinyasa and Ayurvedic lifestyle. Heather also studied anatomy and yoga philosophy and earned a BA in Speech Communications at Penn State University. With over fifteen years of yoga experience, she continues to study and is deeply honored to guide and facilitate others through their own unique yoga and meditation journey. The yoga practice she teaches combines the athleticism and physicality of a strong, breath-focused vinyasa flow, along with the powerful mental benefits of mindfulness and introspection. Expect rhythmic flows to challenge your balance, strength, and flexibility while encouraging you to feel at ease in your mind and ignited in your soul’s passion. Heather encourages you to find your edge on the mat, discover your true intention, and practice with gratitude and an open, loving heart.
Meet Marie:
Marie stepped onto her mat for the first time in 2003 and her yoga journey began. She quickly realized that yoga is much more than just a form of exercise. Yoga is the art of linking the breath with your movement and creating a beautiful dance on your mat. Marie yearned for more knowledge to dive deeper into the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. She had no idea how profound yoga would be in her life. This led her to pursue deepening her knowledge and practice through Berta Prevosti’s 200hr Yoga Teacher Training and 100hr Meditation Teacher Training with Jiiva Yoga School in 2018. She then continued her studies with Jiiva Yoga School and is certified in Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Yin and Ashtanga yoga. She later obtained Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga Teacher certification through A Breath of Calm Yoga School in 2021. In addition, Marie is also an Usui Reiki Master having studied under Berta Prevosti.
