From the moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is a perfect blend of modern and rustic charm that makes you feel right at home. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the food. Greer Southern Table serves up some of the most mouthwatering southern delicacies you can find. From perfectly fried chicken and fluffy waffles to shrimp and grits, every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail.

Throughout our dining experience, we had the most incredible waiter, Brian. He was very knowledgeable and kind and gave us the best recommendations. Here’s what we tried:

Starting off strong with the Secretariat (on the left)- peach bourbon, peach puree, sparkling champagne, and a brandied cherry. We also tried the Classic Hurricane- a light and dark rum cocktail with passion fruit, orange juice, grenadine, lime, and a cherry. This was a great way to kick off our experience!

For appetizers, we went with their famous redneck edamame (boiled peanuts, cajun style), street corn dip with house tortilla chips, and the crispy pork wontons with bourbon ponzu. Every dish was amazing!

For the main event, we tried their cajun diver scallops with a corn maque choux and arugula pistou. We also went with Brian’s highly recommended dish: the skillet rib-eye steak. The steak was perfectly tender and melted in your mouth! Will definitely be back just for that.

We ended off the night with espresso martinis (this is a MUST), their deep fried peach with vanilla bean ice cream, and monkey bread. They have their cakes on rotation, so make sure to try out what they are featuring that night!

In addition to their exceptional dishes, Greer Southern Table takes your dining experience a step further. They offer not one but two private dining rooms that are perfect for special occasions and corporate gatherings. Whether you’re planning a bachelorette dinner, a friendsgiving celebration, or a corporate meeting, these private spaces provide an intimate and charming setting to make your event truly special!

About Greer Southern Table:

Come, Sit, Eat!

These three simple comforting words are at the heart of Greer Southern Table.

They call themselves a southern table; a place to enjoy casual yet refined low & high country cuisine– where you’re treated like family and can seek respite from the world in a relaxed, fun and comfortable atmosphere. Greer is not only the owner’s birth name but it happens to be a small quintessential southern American town that’s located in the northwest corner of South Carolina. A small town with a perfect city center that holds onto nostalgia with all of its charm, while embracing community. Greer is the heart of the South, where the cosmopolitan north meets the highways and byways of the history drenched deep south. It’s so much more than a name, or a city – it’s a crossroads with only a short drive to the border of North Carolina’s “High Country” – the Appalachian & Blue Ridge Mountains. The same distance to the east will bring you to the beautiful Outer Banks, a little ways south you’ll hit Charleston & Savannah and just west is Birmingham and the Great Mississippi.

As for their food? Fabulously fresh, locally & southern sourced, lovingly prepared. You’ll find all of your southern favorites, from our delicious shrimp & grits to their award winning fried chicken. And let us not forget about that southern hospitality! So, when you see them pull chairs, hold doors, say please and thank you AND catering to your every whim, chalk it up to their firm belief in good ‘ol southern manners!

Whether you’re looking to experience a memorable meal among friends or sip on a cocktail or two from their more than magnificent bar, they are here for you.

Hi everyone! My name is Kirsten Horlbeck, one of the interns at 203 local. I was born and raised in Norwell, Massachusetts and I spend most of my time on Cape Cod where I'm on the beach 24/7. I decided to pursue my academic career at Fairfield University in CT, where I'm currently studying communications with a minor in psychology. I'm currently a senior graduating in May 2024! I decided to take on this internship at 203 local to enhance my marketing and communication skills and so far it has helped me decide which career path I would like to enter. A few fun facts about me is that I am one of five and have a twin sister! I also have a cat named Milo and two dogs, Jetti and Cash. I have always loved to travel and took that passion abroad where I spent 4 months in Florence, Italy. That experience is one I'll never forget and has taught me so much, I always highly recommend going to everyone here at Fairfield! Alongside traveling, I love to try new things that are out of my comfort zone such as foods i've never had. I'm a huge seafood lover…
