LITTLE PUB’S DOG ADOPTION EVENT ! 12-2PM

Join them from 12-2pm Sunday October 29th for another Little Pub Little Pups Radio 104.1 dog adoption at Point No Point Park. All Paws On Deck, a CT based dog rescue dedicated to rescuing and rehoming pregnant dogs and their puppies will be on site with some pups for adoption. Get a head start on housebreaking while it’s still warm out.

203 PopUP Halloween Market 12-4PM

Stop by the 203 PopUP Halloween Market on Saturday October 28th from 12pm to 4pm and shop from a spooky selection of local vendors. More info at https://203local.com/203popups/ 

Halloween Golf Cart Trunk or Treat 3-4:30PM

Join them for a Golf Cart Trunk or Treat. Decorate your golf cart and hand out candy or just come by and get some candy!

Second Annual HalloWine 5k race/walk 4:30-5:30PM

This late afternoon run/walk will feature terrific swag for the 21 & over participants. (Under 21 can register and enjoy the event but will only receive a non-alcohol beverage.) 

The Course– 3.11 miles of scenic wonder! 80% direct water views, start/finish and post run fun overlooking Point no Point at the seawall. It all started when they saw an advert for “Trunk or Treat” hosted by the Little Pub. After they did some research it didn’t take long to realize they could team up and create an opportunity for some casual fun.

So here is what they figured out: 

The first 100 people will receive-  ‘A Wine of a Kind’ shirt – might be short sleeve, might be LS, you never know & neither do they (size guarantee by midnight 10/15, after that- whatever we have)

TWO- half-bottles of wine* (one white, one red)

ONE post run glass of wine or beer*

Happy hour-appropriate snacks, cheeses, pretzel bites, nuts, etc.   * 21 & over only NOTE- Reg fee increases to $40 on 10/23.

THE AFTERNOON SCHEDULE 

3-8 pm The “Outdoor bar container” on the lot opposite the Little Pub will be open with food/drinks for adults and NFL Games on TV’s

3:30-5:00 pm Trunk or Treat- candy for kids, pumpkin painting, etc. 

4:15 pm NEW Free Kids Dash- just 100 yards or so, costumes encouraged, ages 8 & under. Directed by Donna Cramond, the Queen of Kids!

4:30 pm- HalloWine 5K START

Tentative post run/walk stuff:

Wine, snacks, fluids, fun

5:00 pm “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” movie

5:30 pm  Drive-in golf cart section

This is still a work in progress and they are adding more by the day! 

RESULTS– As of now this will be a ‘self-timed’ event but they will have a clock, place cards, and the ability to post results online.

AWARDS– With all that swag they may not have overall or age group awards-

but you never know what they might come up with at the last minute!

They have been truly supportive of every running event in the neighborhood so please thank them, stick around- have a bite to eat and have some fun. Bring the family and tell your friends. 

 REMEMBER THIS IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED HUMANS (Cute, well-behaved alternative mammals on leash are OK)   

Event Director– Marty Schaivone, owner of MS Running Productions is a Lordship resident. MSRP directs over 30 running events each year in Fairfield County.

 Thanks to Doug Grabe and Little Pub they have teamed up to host a variety of boutique running events the last three years. Watch for more including the Holiday Run Dec 10.

Parking in the LP lot, along the sea wall, and on side streets. Please don’t block the driveway. We want our neighbors to stay happy.
