thank you, joni!

Our Halloween Preschool Parade is one of the most adorable outings you can imagine. We had a wonderful time parading through the grounds and gardens and waving to our alpaca, chicken and goat friends while singing along and banging on instruments to a few Halloween favorites by Music Together of Fairfield County. Special thanks to Joni Usdan of Joni Homes who sponsored the event and handed out an array of fun goodies to the littles! Big props to our new Educational Coordinator, Noelle Slomich, for taking the reins and running an adorable event for all who attended.

thank you, farmer sharon + Co!

It was a particularly abundant year at our farm stand, and we can’t thank Farmers Sharon and Ryan for providing a long season of produce, starting with lettuces and greens in the spring and taking us through tomatoes in the summer and finally, squash and gourds in the fall. We were proud to sell WTF flowers, honey, logowear and so much goodness from local cottage businesses, including Kneads Bakery, Charlie’s Chaga Tea, Wave Hill Breads Bakery, Shearwater Coffee, Delavignes Gourmet Oils + Vinegars, and an array of rotating guest vendors. Thank you for supporting these small local makers. As our friend, Farmer Patti Popp, says, “Buy Local or Bye Local!” Thank you to Susan Schmidt, Paul Rossi and all the volunteers who helped set up, merchandise, run and break down the stand every Saturday! We couldn’t do it without you! Fall on the Farm – Programs for all agesFall on the Farm – Programs for all ages
