Local Chicken restaurant expands with community give-backs and fan-favorite giveaways
DARIEN, CT (November 17, 2025) — Garden Catering, the family-owned chicken nugget brand serving fans since 1978, opened their newest location on Monday November 17th, in Darien’s Heights Crossing development. The restaurant marks Garden Catering’s ninth location, with a tenth set to open in Shelton in a few weeks.
To celebrate, Garden Catering will host a Grand Opening Week from December 1–6, featuring fan-favorite giveaways, special pricing, and community give-backs. Guests can look forward to $3 breakfast sandwiches, free potato cones and milkshakes on select days, and the return of the always-popular Free T-Shirt Day. Guests can also enter to win Free Nuggets for a Year, and in honor of Giving Tuesday, $1 from every Special sold on December 2nd will support the Youth Community Fund of Darien.

The new Darien location, located directly across the street from Noroton Train Station, features some indoor seating and showcases the brand’s refreshed look first introduced at its recently relocated Port Chester, NY location. The menu features Garden Catering’s cult-favorite hand-cut chicken nuggets, famous potato cones, handcrafted milkshakes, and the award-winning Hotsy breakfast sandwich.
Garden Catering, which opened in Old Greenwich nearly 50 years ago, continues its commitment to serving good food and giving back. The brand has donated over $500,000 to local nonprofits, with a particular focus on youth organizations and pediatric cancer research.
