After two years of being shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Greenwich Wine + Food Festival is making a return to celebrate its 10-year anniversary. Greenwich Wine + Food benefits both the Jacques Pépin Foundation as well as the Wholesome Wave Organization, both national non-profit organizations with roots right here in Connecticut. With the goal of raising funds and awareness for both of these organizations, the events this week and next are ones you will not want to miss. Monday, October 3, 2022
Starting on Monday, a Seven Course Dinner will kick off the week at Rosina’s Bar and Restaurant. Rosina’s will serve this seven-course truffle dinner highlighting specific wine pairings alongside pasta, meats, and vegetables. Tickets are $300, and the dinner will be held at 6:30 pm.
At the same time, Gabriele’s of Westport will be hosting a whiskey and food pairing dinner featuring Woodford Reserve Distillery. Spotlighting Chef Dagoberto Turcio’s menu, this delicious dinner will be held at 7:00 pm with a reception shortly before at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $195.
Last up on Monday is a Dumpling Class at Nit Noi Provisions, held at 7:00 pm. This two-hour event will cover the steps of making Thai Dumplings, ending with being able to enjoy them for dinner. Both pork and vegetarian/vegan options will be available, and appetizers and cocktails will be served. Tickets are available at $175, and the class will be hosted in the Cos Cob location by owner North Shutsharawan.

Enjoy a five-course “land and sea” dinner at LobsterCraft in Greenwichbeginning at 6:30 pm with thanks to Captain Mike Harden. The wine pairing from Vergelegen South African Wine Estate is one that you do not want to miss. Tickets are going for $175.
More into a family-style dinner? Wildarce Rotisserie will be hosting a multi-course dinner with pasture-raised rotisserie chicken paired with wine samples from Horseneck Wine & Spirits. The event will begin at 7:00 pm, and tickets are $100.

SONO 1420 will be hosting a cocktail master class to mix up prohibition-era cocktails with a modern twist. Chef Arik Bensimon will be providing a three-course food pairing at this South Norwalk-based distillery. Beginning at 6:00 pm, with tickets selling for $120, this is an event that you do not want to miss.
What is better than Champagne and Chocolate? Join Master Chocolatier Benoit Racquet for a tasting of five pairings at BE Chocolat in Fairfield. Local Copps Island oysters will be served along with chocolates and champagne. The start time is 7:30 pm, and tickets are $130.

The 10th Anniversary Celebrity Chef Gala is back, and this year award-winning chef Jacques Pépin will be in attendance! With this four-course meal, South Africa’s Vineyard of the Year, Vergelegen Wines, will be pairing their wines with this dinner.
