Brand’s First Grilled Item to be Available at All 10 Locations Beginning January 14
New Haven, Connecticut – Haven Hot Chicken, the award-winning hot chicken brand “Born Hot. Raised Right.,” announced the launch of its first grilled item – The Grilled – at all its ten locations beginning today, Wednesday, January 14, 2026. This new item is featured on the menu as its own sandwich – served with romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, garlic dill pickle and their housemade Ranch on a whole wheat bun, as well as served chopped atop Caesar Salad.
“This new menu item has been months in the making, undergoing rigorous testing before launching at all of our stores,” said Rob LaTronica, Chief Quality Officer and co-founder, Haven Hot Chicken. “It starts with the same delicious NAE Halal chicken we are known for, marinating for over 12+ hours in real buttermilk and our special spice blend. The final product is juicy, delicious actual grilled char lines of caramelized delicious chicken! We’re excited to offer our guests a new way to enjoy Haven.”
Haven Hot Chicken was founded in 2020 by restaurateurs Rob LaTronica, Craig Sklar, Jason Sobocinski, Tom Sobocinski and Etkin Tekin. With accolades from Inc., Food Network, Eat This, Not That! and Fast Casual, the brand currently operates nine company-owned locations in Connecticut: New Haven, Orange, Norwalk, North Haven, Storrs, Middletown, Newington, Oxford and Fairfield as well as a food truck for events and promotions. The Coop Group opened the first location in Massachusetts this month.
