Minks to Sinks Is Back: The Ultimate Treasure Hunt Returns to Wilton

Listed in

If you know, you know. And if you don’t—this is your sign.

One of Fairfield County’s most iconic community events is back: the 2026 Minks to Sinks Spring Tag Sale, and it’s about to turn Wilton into the ultimate bargain-hunting destination.

Running May 2–4, 2026, this massive, under-the-tent tag sale is exactly what it sounds like—a full-on treasure hunt packed with everything from furniture and home goods to clothing, décor, and unexpected finds.

The Vibe: Organized Chaos (In the Best Way)

Picture this: rows of tables, racks on racks of clothing, hidden gems tucked between everyday items—and hundreds of people all searching for their next great find.

Minks to Sinks isn’t your average tag sale. It’s been a Wilton staple for over 90 years, powered by nearly 200 volunteers and fueled by donations from across the community.

And yes—people line up early. Because the deals? Worth it.

When to Go (Strategy Matters)
    •    Saturday (9 AM – 5 PM): Best selection, full price
    •    Sunday (12 PM – 4 PM): Everything half off
    •    Monday (9 – 11 AM): Fill a bag for $10

Pro tip: If you’re serious about scoring something specific, go Saturday. If you’re just here for the chaos and steals, Sunday and Monday are where it’s at.

More Than Just Shopping

At its core, Minks to Sinks is about way more than a good deal.

Every purchase supports Family & Children’s Agency, a Norwalk-based nonprofit serving over 13,000 people across Fairfield County with programs for mental health, housing, family support, and more.

It’s also a sustainability win—giving thousands of items a second life instead of ending up in landfills.

Want to Get Involved?

Donations and consignments are accepted April 28–30, so if you’ve got gently used items sitting around, this is your chance to clear space and give back.

The 203local Take

This is one of those events that defines the local scene. It’s part thrift haul, part community hang, part organized madness—and somehow, it works every time.

Whether you’re hunting for vintage gems, redecorating on a budget, or just pulling up to see what you can find, Minks to Sinks is a must-hit spring tradition in the 203.

Get there early, bring a tote, and prepare to dig.
