Listed in , ,

On Saturday, November 4, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Trinity Spiritual Center will host Hillary Raining, a nationally recognized spiritual leader and women’s wellness expert – who will lead a lively discussion of long-neglected practices that women can adopt to enhance their overall health. Body. Mind. Spirit.

Later in the morning, local wellness coach and culinary expert Lisa Parrelli will offer a mini clinic on healing your body through food. Together, they will encourage women to do a better job of making their own health a priority, as traditionally women put their own needs last on their “to-do” list.

Bigelow Tea will be offering a tea bar featuring a number of their hot beverages. Juices and light snacks will be provided by Catch a Healthy Habit.

The Rev. Dr. Hilary Raining serves as the rector of St. Christopher Episcopal Church in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, where she is the first woman to serve as rector of a large parish in the suburbs of the City of Brotherly Love. Dr. Raining is a member of the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Native Americans. A founder of The Hive, a home for wellness, spirituality, and growth, she is a certified yoga and meditation instructor, a forest therapist, a beekeeper, and author.

Lisa Parrelli is a thought leader in the culinary, health and wellness space. She is a professionally trained chef and uses her experience and training to educate and teach clients to heal themselves through food. Lisa is passionate about using food as medicine to complement a client’s wellness, partnering with physicians and nutritionists to empower clients to be a part of their healthcare journey.

The Center is pleased to provide childcare during the program at no additional cost. If you are interested, please request an additional childcare ticket upon check out, and email trinityspiritualcenter@gmail.com, so that they may be in touch with you regarding your needs.

Hi everyone! My name is Kirsten Horlbeck, one of the interns at 203 local. I was born and raised in Norwell, Massachusetts and I spend most of my time on Cape Cod where I'm on the beach 24/7. I decided to pursue my academic career at Fairfield University in CT, where I'm currently studying communications with a minor in psychology. I'm currently a senior graduating in May 2024! I decided to take on this internship at 203 local to enhance my marketing and communication skills and so far it has helped me decide which career path I would like to enter. A few fun facts about me is that I am one of five and have a twin sister! I also have a cat named Milo and two dogs, Jetti and Cash. I have always loved to travel and took that passion abroad where I spent 4 months in Florence, Italy. That experience is one I'll never forget and has taught me so much, I always highly recommend going to everyone here at Fairfield! Alongside traveling, I love to try new things that are out of my comfort zone such as foods i've never had. I'm a huge seafood lover…
