We are loving the new Park City Music Hall in Black Rock (Bridgeport). We went to go see the Alpaca Gnomes, a local Black Rock fave, on December 2nd. The place was sold out, it was an awesome show and it’s really cool to be able to see great bands in such an intimate setting.
From their site: Park City Music Hall is “a full service restaurant and music hall located in the heart of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport open to the public 7 days a week! Our venue includes incredible chef made meals, delicious beers, wines and cocktails and amazing musical performances. Though some musical performances require a ticket for access to the stage, eating in our restaurant seating area is permitted during all open hours!
Park City Music Hall began its life as The Acoustic Cafe way back in 1999. Over the following decades, The Acoustic became a wellspring of legendary musical performance and birthed the modern Bridgeport music scene. Park City Music Hall intends to carry that mantle well into the future.
Improvements now underway include a more than 500 square foot expansion, a redesigned building facade with overhead garage doors, a new state of the art sound system from L-Acoustics, a new kitchen, new bathrooms, expanded green room, and an oversized bar capable of servicing the venue’s new capacity of 300.
