Pretty sure this is the best thing we have EVER eaten. Got to sample a Wagyu Steak Box the other night. It was cooked perfectly, the onions complimented it amazingly, and the fries on the bottom were like dessert. Soaked in steak & onion. OH. MY. GOD. You better believe we will be eating this every time we go back to Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater this season and we are SO pumped they’re going to be at Sound on Sound this year.
The former owners of the famed Caseus in New Haven took their love of grilling, cheese, and trucks and conceptualized a grilled cheese food truck that would embody their award-winning restaurant. From that, Crispy Melty (formerly The Caseus Cheese Truck), was born. They bring the bread, butter, cheese & love of CRISPY MELTY Grilled Cheese!
Our fave Crispy Melty sammie is “The Hog” which is their classic mix w/ BBQ pulled pork & caramelized onions and is obvi super bomb. They’re stationed at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater all concert season long and we will absolutely be enjoying several more of these.
With locations in Fairfield, Wilton, Greenwich, Old Saybrook, and Stratford, Little Pub is a local favorite serving great food like their Pulled Pork Sandwich, B.L.T, Chicken Tacos, and more.
This is the “Buttermilk Ranch Crunch Wrap” which is our absolute fave thing on the menu. It has fried chicken, tater tots, avocado, pico, cheddar jack, bbq sauce, buttermilk ranch dressing.
Family-owned and operated, Donut Crazy serves up fresh and delicious specialty donuts all over Southern Connecticut.
We love everything about these donuts and totally snag them whenever we’re at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater from the Donut CrazyTruck! Their themed donuts are the best and we bet they’ll have good themed donut for the weekend of Sound on Sound!

The Tasty Yolk was established in 2016 by two lifelong friends, Michael Bertanza and Chef Eric Felitto. The Tasty Yolk started as a food truck and has now grown into two storefront locations, the newest being right here in Stratford, CT! They’re passionate about breakfast and have expanded their storefront locations in Black Rock & Stratford to have lunch and dinner menus.

We would definitely say that Hoodoo Brown is the best BBQ in the 203. In fact, Food & Wine just named them the best in the whole entire state of CT! They make epic platters at their restaurant and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us at Sound on Sound!
