Mamma Bella Cucina is the perfect addition to the SoNo downtown area. Located right across the street from the Mystic Aquarium, it’s the spot for an after adventure lunch or dinner.
They offer authentic Italian cuisine and unique cocktails! We had the pleasure of tasting their new winter menu and cocktail selection this past weekend. Their staff is very friendly and their food has awesome flavor profiles.
As you walk into Mamma Bella Cucina, you are welcomed by a garden wall and the lovely ambience they have to offer. They just recently opened in June 2022 and remodeled from the previous restaurant. We can’t wait to see what they do with the place since it’s already beautiful!

Mamma Bella is now under new ownership! Their goal is to keep the authenticity of the restaurant while also creating a space that is more than just a slice of lunch! With their upcoming changes, you can expect to see a new and improved menu.
They have kept most of the items while adding some other Italian delicacies. So you can now enjoy pizza for lunch and a 3-course Italian dinner for date night. Their restaurant will also be going under cosmetic changes and their bar will be upgraded! So bring the boys to watch the game or the girls for brunch on the weekends. They promise, from the food to the vibe, dining here will be an experience you don’t want to miss!
