Animal lovers, wine and beer aficionados, and food connoisseurs from near and far will gather in an exotic atmosphere for the annual “Wild Wine, Beer, and Food Safari” benefitting Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM (rain or shine).  The evening will include live entertainment from The Navels on the stage at our Peacock Pavilion as well as a fabulous silent auction and onsite games. Zoo supporters can bid on silent auction items here: https://wildwine23.givesmart.com.

“This event sells out every year and it’s easy to understand why. What could be better than enjoying the Zoo on a beautiful early summer night while sampling food, wine, and beer, with live music and animals on exhibit?” asked Gregg Dancho, zoo director. “A special thank you to all of our sponsors who make this an unforgettable evening each year.”

Hosted by Turnpike Spirit Shop of Fairfield, guests will enjoy sampling dozens of different wine and beer selections at this 21+ event.

This expedition of taste will feature delectable fare from local restaurants and caterers such as: Creative Kitchen Catering, CT Caterers, Dave Grant Caters, Fortuna’s Catering, Garden Catering, Hardcore Sweets, Hub & Spoke, Little Pub, Luna Azzurra Italiano, Micalizzi Italian Ice, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Open Door Tea, The Blind Rhino, Vazzy’s and Yalla Organic Food.

Tickets are $90 each for groups of six or more, $100 for individual tickets, and may be purchased online at www.beardsleyzoo.org/wild-wine

Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo has a proud history of over 100 years as Connecticut’s only Zoo. As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and participant in its Species Survival Plan (SSP) programs, we are committed to the preservation of endangered animals and are actively developing strategies that will protect species and preserve their wild habitats.
