There’s a new spot coming to Fairfield for families, beer lovers and friends to hang out! Elicit Brewing Company will open their second location in the beginning of 2024 at 111 Black Rock Turnpike right next door to Fairfield Metro Train Station and across the street from BJs. Elicit is brought to you by the owners of Eli’s Restaurant Group based out of Hamden, CT with 7 locations throughout the state.
Elicit is kid-friendly and dog-friendly, making it a great addition to the neighborhood. It is the perfect location for families to come together after sporting events, recitals or any other event in the community! Considering the versatility of the space, it’s also the ideal place to host events for all kinds of celebrations. The beer garden will offer big Jenga, cornhole and so many other games and activities to keep the kids having fun!
The Fairfield location spans 28,000 square feet which is about 10,000 square feet larger than its northern counterpart in Manchester, CT. It will feature a beer garden with an outdoor dog friendly area, a speakeasy, and several spaces for private events. Elicit Brewing Company Fairfield will have a lot of additions compared to Manchester, but the overall vibe and entertainment scene will stay the same.
To cater to the Fairfield County demographic’s lifestyle and dietary preferences, they will offer gluten-free options, vegetarian selections, many kid-friendly options, plus some yummy desserts. We can’t wait to try their fried Oreos, funnel cake fries and their old fashioned donuts! All food & beverage will be self-service ensuring fast service with the food menu featuring a variety of casual style eats.
Each bar will offer a large variety of beers which will include Elicit Brewing Company’s own crafts as well as other local selections in addition to serving spirits, wine and other canned beverages. We recently had the chance to chat with the Director of Sales and Events, Kelsey Devane, and when we asked what her fave beer is, she answered: The Overcerealized Stout. Devane describes the taste as being just like Reese’s Puffs cereal. It’s a smooth, easy drinkin’ peanut butter chocolate beer, “lightweight and dangerous” and we can’t wait to get one!
Elicit will provide 120 beer taps spanning across a 70 foot full bar. The beer is all housemade and will cover your favorites plus some creative specials on rotation as their brewmasters Brian Ayers & Adam Calderone are always creating fun concoctions. When visiting, make sure to check out the brew house; it’s where they make all the fun stuff!
Speakeasy? Yes, you heard that right! Back in prohibition times, a speakeasy was a place where alcohol was sold illegally. They are usually found behind an inconspicuous entry door in a hotel or restaurant, but in this case it will be inside of Elicit Brewing Company in Fairfield! Going along with the classic theme, their speakeasy will feature a modernized prohibition style design with Chesterfield couches, low-top seating, a speakeasy-style mixology menu, and an elevated food menu to pair with the cocktails & setting.
As in Manchester, the Fairfield location will mix up the music on varying nights of the week to accommodate different cultures, preferences and genres! Elicit describes having things for all ages and music tastes. Stay tuned for upcoming events and fundraisers in Fairfield!
Elicit Brewing Company Fairfield plans to stay open on the later side to accommodate those looking for a place to listen to music, have a nightcap (or two!) and dance the night away. The hours are tentative at the moment and subject to change over the next couple of weeks. As of now, Elicit intends to operate 4 PM – 12 AM on weekdays, Friday & Saturday from 12 PM – 2 AM, and Sunday from 12 PM – 12 AM. After 9 PM, everyone entering Elicit Brewing Company must be over the age of 21.
Taking the train in or using public transportation from work? Elicit Brewing Company Fairfield made and paved your walk from the Fairfield Metro North Station all the way to the Brewery to make commuting easier and walking accessible. #savetheearth
A statement from Devane of Elicit Brewing Company “Elicit is so ecstatic to be a part of the Fairfield County community and provide a home to those in the area! We have news….There’s a third location in the making in Danbury. Elicit will be Southern CT’s new home.”
