Local Canned Spirits Available in Stores: Doc’s Road Soda

Doc’s Road Soda has climbed to the top of the drink chain this year with 3 refreshing flavors to choose from. 

Our favorite is the Playa Camino Road Soda, it is a Paloma made with agave spirit! It’s so refreshing… The Playa Camino is the Mrs’ favorite. This was a late addition to the line up but it’s becoming the fan favorite. It’s a riff on Mexico’s most popular cocktail, the Paloma. It is usually made with either a pulpy grapefruit juice or a sugary soda gun that leaves the drink bitter and flat. Doc’s Road Soda, Playa Camino uses an all natural grapefruit soda that gives a light refreshing taste. Such a nice light drink for a day on the boat or a fun tailgate! 

Next up is the Knight Ryeder. It’s Doc’s take on the classic Bourbon and cola but with a healthier version of cola and a small batch of rye whiskey. It offers less sugar, it’s gluten free and does not have high fructose syrup. The Knight Ryeder is a sleek drink that offers you the great taste but with no headache.

Lastly, The Easy Ryeder was Doc’s first idea for a road soda. He knew it just wasn’t right to serve a high quality whiskey rye with a super sweet ginger ale laden with high fructose syrup that crushes the flavor and leaves you with a headache! Doc would never do that! So he created his Easy Ryeder with all-natural ginger ale that complements his small batch rye.
